Anxiety and Worry

Many children and teenager’s experience anxiety at different stages of development.  While occasional worries can be a normal part of growing up, some children may experience persistent anxiety that begins to affect their daily lives, relationships or confidence.

Children and teenager’s may struggle to explain their worries directly and instead show signs such as:

  • Excessive worrying.

  • Difficulty sleeping.

  • Physical symptoms such as stomach aches or headaches.

  • Separation anxiety.

  • Avoidance of activities.

  • Increased emotional sensitivity.

  • Withdrawal from friends or family.

Through Play Therapy and therapeutic support for teenagers, children can safely explore their feelings, develop emotional understanding and build coping strategies that help them feel more secure and confident.

How Play Therapy Can Help:

Play Therapy and therapeutic support for teenager’s can help children:

  • Understand their emotions.

  • Develop coping skills.

  • Build confidence.

  • Reduce feelings of anxiety.

  • Improve emotional resilience.
